Our Team

At German Health Plans Worldwide, we like to offer young people the opportunity to gather work experience in the United States. Therefore we regularly employ interns or trainees who usually stay here in New York between six and twelve months.

Main focus: temporary health insurance for interns, trainees, students and au pairs

Our current trainee is who joined our team in summer 2007 after graduating as Master of Business Administration (“Diplom-Kaufmann”) at the University of Tübingen. His responsibililities within our daily business are the outgoing and incoming communication with clients and business partners as well as customer care in the field of short term health insurance. Additionally he supports the executives in various projects, as well in the field of Marketing.

Main focus: Online-Marketing, Corporate Identity,
Media Planning & Design

For the period of four month (from October 2007 to Early February 2008) Bastian Eller attended to our marketing activities. He was responsible for the re-launches of our two company websites, structuring of our media planning, as well as the conception and realization of a target audience focused Corporate Identity. During his stay he achieved his ambitious goal of imprinting a consistent external communication.
Born in Coburg, Franconia, he is in his senior year at the University of Applied Science Würzburg-Schweinfurt majoring in Media Economics and graduating in 2008 after his time here in New York.

Daniel Werk had been working at German Health Plans Worldwide, Inc. from September 2006 to August 2007. Before his internship he successfully finished his vocational training as “International Administration Manager, ESA” in Chemnitz. He now returned to Germany to continue his professional career but will be back to the USA, even if it's just for visiting...
