Our Interns

At German Health Plans Worldwide, we like to offer young people the opportunity to gather work experience in the United States. Therefore we regularly employ interns or trainees who usually stay here in our office in Cape May, New Jersey, for five to twelve months

	Area: Executive Assistant Main Focus: Administration Valerie Jelena Brand, student in the field of International Business Administration at Furtwangen Business School in Germany supports the administration department since August 2011 during her internship. Her main task is the processing of orders and the verbal and written correspondence in German and English with our international clients and European insurance companies. Her special responsibilities are existing client care and quotations for new clients. Furthermore, she is involved in interdisciplinary projects and supports the planning and organization of events.
	Area: Executive Marketing Assistant Main focus: Marketing and PR Luise Ertl is responsible for our marketing and PR department since August 2011 for about five months. Her main responsibilities are the planning and implementing of various international marketing strategies for the market entry and market development in different countries and maintaining the company website. This includes especially the planning and coordinating of a webrelaunch, designing flyers and ads for print- and online media, organizing an exhibition concept, researching and organizing the global media planning and further international PR- and marketing activities. Luise Ertl studies Information Management and Corporate Communication at the University Neu-Ulm (Germany). After having completed this internship in Cape May she will write her thesis in order to graduate with the B.A. degree in 2012.
	Area: Executive Marketing Assistant Main focus: Marketing and PR Miss Dargus, degree in business administration, worked in our marketing and PR department from February to August 2011. Her field of responsibility included the planning, implementation and coordination of international marketing strategies, especially in online marketing. She was also responsible for the public relations of German Health Plans Worldwide Inc, such as the preparation of press releases
	Area: Executive Assistant Main Focus: Administration Viktoria Nazarenus, who studies in the field of International Business Eastern Europe, is doing an internship at German Health Plans Worldwide Inc. from March until the end of August 2011. Her main task is the processing of orders, which includes processing incoming requests, quote preparation and maintenance of the clients base. Furthermore, she handles the correspondence with clients and insurance companies.
	Area: Executive Assistant Main focus: Order processing from tender preparation to placing orders Sharonjit Kaur Efe, student in the field of "International Management", worked at German Health Plans Worldwide Inc. from May till the end of September 2010. Mrs. Efe was very committed to her work, highly motivated, and a diligent co-worker who interacted with our clients with her friendly and helpful character. Because of her high input, she made a contribution to the new orientation of the company. We would like to thank her for her excellent work and wish her all the best for her professional and personal future.
	Area: Administration Main focus:temporary health insurance for interns, trainees, students, and au pairs The trainee Halit Berisha joined our team in the summer of 2007 after graduating as Master of Business Administration (“Diplom-Kaufmann”) at the University of Tübingen. His responsibilities within our daily business are outgoing and incoming communication with clients and business partners as well as customer care for short-term health insurances. Additionally, he supports the entire staff with various areas, including marketing.
	Area: Marketing Main focus: online-marketing, corporate identity, media planning & design For the period of four months (from October 2007 to early February 2008) Bastian Eller attended to our marketing activities. He was responsible for the re-launches of our two company websites, structuring of our media planning as well as the design and implementation of a target audience focused corporate identity. During his stay he achieved his ambitious goal of implementing a consistent external communication. Born in Coburg, Franconia, he is in his senior year at the University of Applied Science, Würzburg-Schweinfurt, majoring in Media Economics and graduating in 2008 after his time in the New York office.
	Area: Administration Daniel Werk worked at German Health Plans Worldwide, Inc. from September 2006 to August 2007. Before his internship he successfully finished his vocational training as International Administration Manager, ESA. in Chemnitz. Back in Germany, he now continues his professional career but will be back to the USA, even if it is just for a visit...
